Overall, teaching young kids how to play tennis was satisfying and enjoyable. Watching their handheld tightly grip the racket, and the excitement of hitting the ball (and the teacher) is a rewarding experience in itself. Each shot, whether the kids hit the ball hard or not, is a milestone; it is a breakthrough not only for the kids but for me, too. Each time I hear the phrase “我想打球” and their enthusiasm, it not only fuels them as students but me as a volunteer; I feel that my time spent with them on the court was worth it. I feel that my time spent with them teaching them tennis and spark passion for sport, which is fulfilling!
