Game On held an inspirational Tennis Experiential Day at YMCA Kings Park in the morning of October 6. The purpose of this event was to introduce tennis to underprivileged kids and create relationships that lasted beyond the tennis court.
A dedicated group of thirteen volunteers contributed their enthusiasm and positive energy, guaranteeing that the day was full with happiness and fun. An entertaining warm-up led by passionate volunteer coaches opened the event. A dynamic tone was set for the day with interacting mini-games like agility exercises and line tag during the warm-up.

The kids practiced their forehand and backhand skills during a shadowing session that followed the warm-up. As the kids got to hit tennis balls for the first time, their joy increased as the coaches fed balls to them.
The kids took a short break, then came back to the court to show off their newfound abilities by hitting targets. The role of the coach volunteers was important as they motivated the children and helped pick up the ball.
Both the kids and the volunteer coaches thought back on the insightful lessons they had gained as the event came to an end. It was an unforgettable day full of friendship and pleasure, and Game On is still dedicated to using future projects to provide sports to low-income children in Hong Kong.
